About Tanvi
I’m a Physics tutor with over 10 years of experience and a BSc in Physics with Materials Science. My passion lies in the universe—its mysteries, origins, and incredible structure. I specialize in astrophysics and cosmology, with a strong focus on stellar evolution, black holes, general relativity, and the Big Bang theory. I enjoy helping students understand how stars are born, live, and die, and what lies at the heart of galaxies. I make complex topics like spacetime and gravitational waves clear and exciting through visuals, analogies, and step-by-step explanations. Whether we’re exploring Einstein’s equations or discussing cosmic microwave background radiation, I always link ideas to the bigger picture. I’ve worked with astronomy clubs, curious learners, and future astrophysicists looking to go beyond standard physics lessons. My sessions often blend theory with discussion, inspiring students to think big and ask deep questions. Many of my students have gone on to study astrophysics at university. If you're fascinated by space and want to understand the laws that shape it, I'm here to guide you. Let’s explore the universe together and uncover the beauty behind the physics that governs it all.

My teaching approach in Physics is focused, exam-ready, and built around clear understanding. I help students prepare for tests like AP Physics by using targeted drills and practice tests. My sessions cover concept reviews, problem-solving techniques, and smart exam strategies. Each lesson is structured to improve accuracy, speed, and confidence.
I explain complex topics like mechanics, electromagnetism, and thermodynamics using simple examples and visuals. I break down each idea step by step and help students apply it to different question types. My method includes solving problems together and learning from mistakes.
Students with strong math skills or a love for sci-fi often enjoy my approach. I support them in thinking deeper and staying curious while still focusing on exam success. I adjust to each learner’s style and goals, making the experience personal and effective.
Together, we build a strong foundation in physics and sharpen your test-taking skills. Let's boost your confidence and aim for high scores on exam day.
