About Rufaro
I am a Year 12 student, currently studying A-level Mathematics, Economics, and History. I achieved top grades in GCSE English Literature (8/A*) and English Language (9/A*) and bring strong academic skills to my tutoring.
As a former Head Boy and Chairperson of the College Council, I have extensive leadership experience, demonstrating professionalism, organisation, and communication skills. I also represent Essex in the UK Youth Parliament, showing my commitment to making a positive impact. I’m passionate about helping GCSE and resit students achieve their goals in English.

Lessons typically last 1 hour, combining interactive activities, detailed explanations, and practice questions. As a Year 12 student with 8/9/A* grades in GCSE English Literature and Language, I understand what it takes to excel and can relate to the challenges students face. I also support GCSE resit students, helping them improve their skills and achieve their desired grades. I know it can be demotivating being told to aim for a certain threshold, but no one is expected to aim for the same grade when working with me.
