I earned a Ph.D. in history and have been teaching various subjects within the general topic of History, Social Science, Culture, and more for 15+ years. I have designed individual one-on-one courses, taught groups in experiential ways and been able to show how history matters today to us!

I teach anyone who is interested in learning more or just needs a little more help understanding what happened and why it matters. Every session is interactive, engaging, filled with examples and activities that help learners understand history, realize how important their own insights and interpretations are and couple that with historical skills. I encourage questions on all issues and enjoy highlighting connections of all issues involved in history that often leads to where we are today. Understanding the past can help us navigate the present and be ready for the future.
