About Joy
I am passionate about getting people talking, improving communication skills and growing in confidence to make connections and improve their chances of employment.
I love teaching English, knowing that every new word, idiom or concept is another step towards my learner’s confidence and fluency.
I have a first class degree and a Masters degree in English, a PGCE for teaching in the British education system and a TEFL qualification to further hone what I can offer my learners.
I am also a language learner so I know how it feels to be finding your way in a second or third language!

We will work from a variety of primary sources to keep your learning experience interesting, fun & relevant.
I am happy to work with students from elementary to advanced levels whether you know exactly what you want or just think it’s time to make some improvements.
