About Norpell
I graduated from Cambridge University in 2024, ranking 8th in my cohort. My degree is in Natural Sciences (Psychology) and I took papers from Philosophy throughout my three years. This uniquely positions me to tutor both Philosophy and Psychology. From the philosophy of science to how neuroscience informs Philosophy of Mind, my expertise in each course complements the other. Similarly, I am adept at teaching the biochemical aspect to Psychology. I can equip my tutees not just with sophisticated understanding, but also skilled written and spoken abilities. With my years of experience I can directly tailor these abilities to the unique Oxbridge supervision system consisting of essays and discussions. Alongside my degree, I published on economics and politics for various student and academic publications. I also had an undefeated record at university kickboxing and DJ'd across Cambridge's nightlife circuit. I can give insights into how my tutees can navigate and maximise Cambridge's eclectic student and extracurricular life.

I believe that understanding and performance are equally important. An encouraging and diligent tutor, I refine my tutees' unique interests and arguments alongside their written and spoken delivery. Blending their syllabus with advanced university-level reading, my tutees gain truly comprehensive and critical understanding. This dual personal and practical ethos enriches their grasp of their subject while making them highly competitive in examinations. Lessons are one-hour minimum, and I am happy to accommodate longer sessions. Tutees move through a structured plan in which they are challenged through discussion and reviews of timed essays completed as homework. Progress is continually measured against critical metrics such as conciseness. All content and homework is within or directly related to their syllabus. I have over three years of tutoring experience, and am proud of my tutees' stellar attainment in examinations and admissions. My tutees are A-Level students studying Philosophy/Psychology, many of whom are applying to Oxbridge. I provide parents with detailed reviews of lessons and tutees' progress.
