About Edward

I am a dedicated Trumpet tutor with 15 years of teaching and professional experience. My passion for education comes from helping school and college students discover their musical abilities while building confidence and discipline. I believe every learner can succeed when lessons are encouraging, well-structured, and adapted to their individual needs.

My classes focus on developing strong fundamentals, including breathing techniques, posture, embouchure, tone production, articulation, rhythm, scales, sight-reading, ear training, music theory, and performance preparation. I combine practical demonstrations with easy explanations so students understand each concept and apply it confidently during practice.

Throughout my teaching journey, I have proudly guided students from beginner level to confident performers. Seeing them participate in concerts, school programmes, competitions, and music examinations has been one of the greatest milestones of my career.

I encourage students to practise regularly, ask questions, and enjoy every learning experience. My classroom is a supportive space where mistakes become valuable opportunities to improve and grow.

Teaching is not only my profession but also my purpose. My goal is to inspire students to become skilled trumpet players while developing confidence, patience, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for music.

About the lesson

I follow a structured and student-focused approach to teaching Trumpet that helps learners develop both technical ability and musical creativity. My teaching style is based on clear Communication, where I provide simple explanations, regular feedback, and practical guidance.

Since each student learns differently, I use Adaptation to Learning Styles to create lessons that fit their individual needs and encourage steady progress. I bring Real-life examples and case studies into lessons by discussing famous performances, professional trumpet techniques, and musical experiences.

I also help students improve in related areas such as Music Theory, Rhythm Practice, Sight Reading, Ear Training, and Stage Performance. My lessons focus on building strong fundamentals, including breath control, embouchure, tone production, scales, and performance confidence. I strive to create an enjoyable environment where students feel motivated to learn and achieve their musical goals.
