About Mik
My name is Mik, and I am a current tertiary student specializing in Information Technology and Mathematics, with certifications at the ANU and CIT in progress. I also have past experience in many tutoring and mentoring roles, and the students I have helped have all been satisfied with my work. I have a very student-forward approach to my teaching, where my support and guidance is centered around each student's needs for each session, rather than sticking to a rigid framework. I can also employ a variety of teaching methods depending on the unique needs of each student, and am very adaptable in my methods. I hold a valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People Check, and also have experience working with Disabled and neurodivergent students. I am a queer-friendly teacher as well.

Offering 1 hour sessions for K-6 and 1 to 2 hour sessions for 7-10.
I have several years at the ANU under my belt, where I performed very well in my mathematics courses, leaning towards a discreet mathematics specialisation. I also performed very well in my HSC Advanced Mathematics course. I also have past experience in Mathematics tutoring, with excellent results coming from the students I have taught.
My goal is to help your child find their optimal way of succeeding in their studies, and to provide additional support outside what their classroom teacher may be able to provide.
