About Carrie

Calculators sit on my desk gathering dust while I map out abstract logic. I started at a university help desk and never left. Teaching people who move fast or need the scenic route is my norm.

I adjust for ADHD and dyscalculia by keeping things fluid. You get 8 years of experience. I have guided 400 students.

About the lesson

Getting started involves brief chat about your goals and current struggles. I provide 7.0 weekly practice worksheets that include solutions to guide your independent work.

We move through concepts using the rigor expected from an MS in Applied Mathematics. My teaching style adapts when you hit a wall or get bored.

I prioritize active engagement over passive listening. You will find that our time together focuses on genuine comprehension rather than rote memorization.
