About Clara
My teaching approach focuses on helping students communicate clearly and professionally in English. I emphasize practical skills like business communication, email etiquette, report writing, and presentation skills. These are essential tools for success in today’s workplace. Lessons are designed to be simple, effective, and tailored to each student’s needs. I work closely with immigrants, newcomers, and heritage learners to build their confidence and competence in English. Together, we focus on real-world situations they face at work or school. I provide step-by-step guidance to master writing clear emails, creating professional reports, and delivering engaging presentations. Using examples, role-plays, and practice exercises, I help students develop habits that make their communication more effective. I encourage active participation and provide constructive feedback to support steady improvement. The goal is to equip every learner with skills that help them stand out and succeed in professional settings. With patience and practice, mastering business English becomes achievable and rewarding.

I am an experienced English tutor with 8 years of teaching and a Master of Arts in English Literature, specializing in the Early Modern Period. My passion lies in helping beginner and intermediate learners improve their pronunciation clarity, intonation patterns, and speech rhythm. I use structured drills and phonetic exercises tailored to each student’s needs. To track progress effectively, I incorporate audio recordings that allow both me and my students to hear their improvement over time.
My lessons create a warm, supportive space where students learn English sound by sound, building confidence with every session. I have successfully worked with non-native speakers, actors, and public speakers, helping them achieve natural, clear speech. Whether you want to refine your accent or strengthen your public speaking, my approach focuses on making pronunciation approachable and fun.
Together, we break down complex sounds into manageable steps, ensuring steady progress. I believe that mastering English is a journey best taken one clear sound at a time. With patience and practice, every student can unlock their true speaking potential. I look forward to guiding you on this rewarding path to confident communication.
