About Lydia
I'm passionate about English and European literature. I have a first-class degree in French and German language and literature from University of Cambridge and am currently taking an MA in Creative Writing. I have over four years' tutoring experience, supporting several students to achieve better grades in their English IB exams. I am also a qualified lawyer.

I start off by discussing with students their areas of interest or concern, their school level and the syllabus they are following and what they would like to achieve in their tutoring sessions. I particularly love helping with analysis of unseen or set texts and essay writing skills but am very happy to be directed by a student's individual preferences. A typical session with me includes some focus on literary techniques and writing skills, as well as us working together to analyse an extract of fiction or non-fiction. I offer 1-hour lessons.
