About Devapriya
I am a software engineer turned educator with 14 years of professional IT experience, specialising in Java, Python, and software engineering. I have worked as a Technical Lead and handled complex real-world systems — which means I teach Computer Science from genuine industry experience, not just textbooks.
I chose to teach Cambridge A-Level Computer Science (9618) because I saw how many students struggle with Paper 4 Python practical and theory concepts that are actually very logical once explained the right way. My goal is to make every student think like a programmer, not just memorise answers.
I am patient, structured, and deeply committed to each student's progress. I believe every student can achieve Grade A or A* with the right guidance and consistent practice.

I specialise in Cambridge A-Level Computer Science (9618), covering all four papers — Paper 1 (Theory), Paper 2 (Fundamental Problem-Solving), Paper 3 (Advanced Theory), and Paper 4 (Python Practical).
With 14 years of professional IT experience, I bring real-world coding knowledge into every session.
My teaching approach is structured and past-paper driven. Every session is tailored to the student's weak areas — whether that's OOP, data structures, algorithms, pseudocode, or programming concepts. Students write and debug code themselves from day one, building genuine exam confidence.
Sessions are 60 minutes, online only, fully comfortable with UK timings. Ideal for A-Level students targeting Grade A or A* in 9618
