About Caterina
I employ a variety of teaching techniques, including eliciting, concept-checking questions (CCQs), and instruction-checking questions (ICQs). While I strive to minimize teacher talking time (TTT), I understand this can be challenging with lower-level students or in the initial stages of a course.
Additionally, I utilize task-based learning, as it encourages students to retain knowledge through hands-on practice. After completing a task, they receive an explanation of the form and rules, which they can better grasp by applying them in context. This approach helps solidify their understanding and retention of the material.

Hi,
I am an Italian CELTA-certified English teacher.
I completed my CELTA course on July 26th, 2024, successfully passing all four assignments and teaching practice sessions. I have experience teaching online to students of various levels, including pre-intermediate, intermediate, and upper-intermediate.
Being Italian, I learned English mostly on my own, driven by my love for the language, which remains strong to this day. I aim to share my enthusiasm with students, not just teaching them English, but also inspiring them to develop a genuine passion for the language.
At the moment, I am collaborating with a private language school, a public primary school and a kindergarten, teaching children, adults, teenagers and corporate.
