About Jaime
Hello! I'm Jaime, I'm Spanish, and I've been teaching languages for over 5 years. Nice to meet you!
I firmly believe that communication plays a fundamental role in helping us develop as individuals. Living in society means communicating! And we live in a very international world where knowing languages is absolutely essential.
I'm passionate about teaching and guiding you towards achieving your goals. I'm always trying to make my students feel comfortable in class and enjoy the learning process. If your experience is bad, learning will be much more difficult.
I'm looking forward to meeting you and talking about the things you're passionate about: sports, food, traveling, culture—a little bit of everything!

I've been teaching languages since 2017, right after completing my degree in English Philology and my Master's in Foreign Language Teaching. Most of the time I've been working as a language teacher, preparing for official exams or teaching conversation classes, but I've also had other jobs and a wide variety of experiences. We'll have lots to talk about!
My methodology for teaching you English will always be adapted to your needs:
- Do you want conversation classes to improve your fluency? We'll work on your interaction with opinion-based questions about current and interesting topics. Don't worry, I'll give you the tools you need to shape your answers. Together, we'll discuss your opinions in depth, and the more interesting the conversation, the more we'll work on advanced aspects of the language, whether it's grammar or vocabulary!
- Do you need to work on your writing? No problem either! Sometimes we're a little afraid of writing because we're not used to it and it's not our native language. I can help you understand how text structure works and make your speech logical, helping you learn the language through writing.
- Are you more structured in your learning and need that dose of grammar? Me too! I'll explain every grammar point, verb tenses, passives, conditionals, etc., and we'll do lots of exercises so you can practice tons of different sentences and structures.
- Maybe you need to take an official certification? I'm quite experienced with Cambridge Exams' structure, and I'll guide you through it with tons of hints to answer the questions efficiently. Obtaining your Certification will be a piece of cake! If you want to sit a different exam, let me know and we'll see what we can do.
