About Daisy
I am an experienced Flute tutor with over 17 years of teaching School, College, and working professional students. I enjoy helping learners improve their musical skills in a supportive environment.
My teaching approach is structured and easy to follow. I focus on building strong fundamentals such as breathing techniques, posture, finger accuracy, tone development, and rhythm control.
Along with flute lessons, I teach music theory, sight reading, scale practice, rhythm training, and ear training. These subjects help students become confident and independent musicians. I also guide students with exam preparation.
My unique skill is breaking complex topics into simple steps. I aim to make learning flute clear, enjoyable, and effective.

I follow a student-centred teaching approach for flute that is based on communication, creativity, and flexibility. I believe clear explanation and supportive feedback help students improve steadily. Each concept is explained step by step, and students are encouraged to communicate openly.
Creativity plays an important role in my lessons through creative exercises, musical patterns, and expressive playing methods. Lessons are adjusted according to each student’s learning pace and goals, whether they are preparing for exams, performances, or learning for personal enjoyment.
Flute lessons focus on breathing control, posture, embouchure, finger technique, articulation, scales, rhythm, and sight reading. Along with flute instruction, I teach supporting subjects such as music theory, ear training, rhythm practice, and performance preparation to help students become confident and skilled musicians.
