I am a licensed teacher with my sheltered English immersion endorsement. I am licensed in history and social studies but have experience in special education, math, and English language learners as well. My number one goal is for my students to reach their goals and to learn skills that will be useful in and outside of the classroom.

I use tested and proven teaching and learning strategies to keep students motivated and engaged as well as making sure they are learning. My educational philosophy and methodology are focused on making sure a child has all their needs met so that they are able to pay attention to learning, followed by high expectations, individualized attention and lessons, and multiple strategies for reaching their goals. I can make lessons for any grade level 5-12 although I have the most experience with high school. I use gradual release (I do, we do, you do) in my lessons, which makes them easy to adapt quickly, for multiple types of learners and multiple levels of proficiency.
