About Aum
I am a professionally trained Yoga Educator with a PG Diploma in Yoga Education from Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute & Research Center and over 1000 hours of advanced yoga training. I have completed RYT 200, RYT 300 and RYT 500 certifications with Yoga Alliance and I am a Yoga Prashikshak member of the Indian Yoga Association.
I have practical teaching experience with students, having taught yoga classes as well as worked with yoga institutes, wellness programs and retreats. My experience includes working with people of different ages and levels of experience, adapting practices according to individual needs and abilities. Alongside yoga, I am a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach and am currently pursuing an M.A. in Philosophy, which has helped me develop a deeper understanding of both the practical and philosophical aspects of yoga.
I approach teaching with a focus on clarity, individual attention and a strong foundation in traditional yoga, while making the practice appropriate for each student's needs and level.

My approach to teaching yoga is rooted in traditional Hatha Yoga, while keeping the practice relevant and accessible to modern lifestyles. I focus on developing a better understanding of the body, breath and mind rather than simply performing postures.
Classes generally include asana practice, pranayama, relaxation and meditation, with appropriate preparation and progression based on the student's level and requirements. I give attention to alignment, breathing, awareness and the correct application of each practice.
I believe in teaching with patience and clarity, allowing students to gradually develop strength, mobility, stability and concentration. Where relevant, I also explain the traditional principles and philosophy behind the practices, so that students understand not only what they are doing, but also why they are doing it.
The classes are suitable for adults of different ages and experience levels, including beginners. The practice can be adapted according to individual needs, abilities and goals, whether the intention is to improve physical wellbeing, manage stress, develop a regular practice or explore yoga more deeply.

I’ve really enjoyed doing yoga with Aum. I had pain in my knee, and he was always very mindful of it, giving me different variations and options rather than making me push through anything uncomfortable. He also took the time to curate classes specifically for me, which I really appreciated. His Yoga Nidra sessions were a particular highlight, so relaxing and honestly some of the best sessions I’ve done.
