About Xueyi
I have achieved Level 10, the highest level in the Chinese Calligraphers Association’s calligraphy grading examination, and have developed a portfolio of original calligraphy works. I have a strong foundation in traditional Chinese brush calligraphy and understand the standards required for examinations and further study. I enjoy introducing students to the beauty of Chinese calligraphy while helping them build confidence, discipline and their own artistic expression.

Lessons are tailored to each student’s age, level and goals, from complete beginners to students preparing for calligraphy examinations or school applications. Beginners will learn brush control, basic strokes, character structure and regular script through step-by-step practice. More experienced students can receive targeted guidance on technique, composition and individual works. I can also assist with examination preparation and calligraphy portfolios for further study. Lessons typically last 60 minutes and can be adapted for children or adults.
