About Olivia
I am in my second year at Leeds University studying Classics and have around 3 years experience working with kids of all ages. I worked as a counsellor for summer camps in both the UK and the US for the past 3 summers, where I planned and ran activities for all ages. Whilst in sixth form I tutored younger students in years 7-9 for English and History. I also worked for my local Synagoge looking after kids who couldn’t go home immediately after school, helping with homework and entertaining them with games.

My teaching methods vary depending on the needs of each student, and I always tailor my sessions towards the individual.
Generally, I begin by asking the student/parent what they would most like to focus on and plan my sessions on that, making sure we cover the basic skills such as essay writing and content learning. I believe in visual learning and love to think of creative ways to help students enjoy our lessons and also retain knowledge.
