About Leah
I have an Honors degree in English Literature, a Bachelor of Education, an MA in English, additional qualification in Special Education, Guidance Counselling and ESL. I have worked with advanced students requiring a more intensive academic focus, and I have worked with students with dyspraxia, ADHD, ADD, OCD, anxiety and autism.

I create a calm and caring atmosphere so that the student feels comfortable approaching academic challenges. I have high expectations for all of my students and create individualized learning plans and activities to accommodate individual needs. My classes are for any student who wants to learn, and I teach any skills required, such as social skills, public speaking skills, how to manage anger and anxiety, as well as the more academic skills such as listening comprehension, reading and writing.
