About Rachelle
I am Dr. Rachelle D. Harris, an educator with a doctorate in Education Administration and more than 20 years of experience in secondary and higher education. I am a proud Tuskegee University graduate and have been recognized by the Michigan House of Representatives as a Teacher of the Year. I currently teach English Composition and World Literature at the university level, where I work primarily with adult and nontraditional learners in an online environment. My background includes AP English Literature, Speech and Debate, multilingual learner instruction, and instructional coaching across multiple schools. I hold multiple master’s degrees in English, Secondary English Education, Instructional Technology Management, and Human Services. I am committed to meeting every student where they are and helping them grow into confident, capable writers and thinkers.

Dr. Harris is one of the best teachers I know. She goes above and beyond for all of her students to help them succeed!
