Somy is a wonderful teacher! She is patient, knowledgeable, skilled teacher. She gets into the details of every concept and she makes sure that you have learnt.

Somayeh is the reason I graduated from my Electrical Engineering degree. She helped me at a time that was very hard for me personally and I was ready to give up. Then I went to her office hour for "Applications of Electromagnetics" and she helped me so much it's hard to put words to.

Her teaching style is very visual. She uses colour to help differentiate aspects of the concepts she's explaining which is unbelievably helpful. The colours are especially useful when you look back on the notes when shes not there. Somayeh will also draw diagrams and come up with lots of real life examples to help you understand. She is kind and patient as well.
