Most of my students have responded well to my style of teaching. I’m relaxed with my demeanor, but I have high standards and motivate them to do their best. I also appreciate the struggles that students have with managing their academic and personal lives. I can show you techniques to manage that stress as well as finding a balance between these parts of your life.

I push my current students to enhance their writing abilities; develop their vocabulary; explore other texts to expand their writing abilities for creative or academic purposes. My goal as a teacher has always been to prepare students not just for the academic world, but to write for a world where they have to apply for loans, prepare resumes, draft workplace correspondence. I also impress on my students the requirement for comprehension. Learning how to read, annotate and analyze are an important part of the English process.
