About Dora
I have just graduated with a 2:1 in English literature and am confirmed to start my Master's in Film Studies this September. English and Drama were my favourite subjects in school, and this has always been evident in the consistent high marks that I have achieved. I am an avid reader, and have read widely across the canon of literature covered in school syllabuses: one of my favourite texts was 'Of Mice and Men', which I tutored to a student, taking him up at least two GCSE grade boundaries. I also love working with plays, having achieved first class grades at university for my essays on Shakespeare, Arthur Miller, and others.

For GCSE and A Level English, I would implement a course of hour long lessons based in comprehension of texts, essay plans, and feedback on current schoolwork. I have retained a volume of resources from throughout my school years and degree, and have successfully taught poetry and set texts previously. As a recent graduate, I have plenty of time to devote to tutoring so can offer flexible hours in preparation for, and throughout, the next school year!
