About Selin
I am a Master's student at Durham University and I studied at University of Warwick and Boğaziçi University previously. I have tutored students getting ready for their university entrance exams as well as university students struggling with their humanities subjects. I get on with children and teenagers quite well, and I keep a friendly but professional attitude when I am teaching.

I am a literature student myself and I would like to give lessons to high school and undergraduate students studying or getting ready to study English Literature. I create a tutoring plan according to how many lessons we will have and what subjects need to be covered, and highlight topics I find important or the student struggles the most with. I try to put every era, novel, author within both a historical and literary context and I encourage my students to do close readings so that they can develop critical and analytical thinking while dealing with literary texts.
