About Jess
I am a 2nd year English Literature student at Cardiff University. I have enjoyed writing both in my academic studies and as a hobby throughout my life in education. Outside of the classroom I have written, directed and performed plays in amateur groups and love finding ways to express myself through word. I am looking for students who need support unlocking their writing potential from essays to poems.

The beauty of one to one tuition is that the lessons can mould to each individual. The first lesson would revolve around understanding the pupil and discovering the areas where they need extra support and begin to understand which environment they can learn best. From that point on lessons are planned and tailored to that individual. It’s vital that I give them the tools they need for independent study outside of class and guide them on how to use their innate strengths to help solve a problem. I approach teaching without judgement and strive to achieve a friendly, comfortable atmosphere where the pupil feels fully supported.
