About Soumyadeep
I'm giving private classes since I was in class 11. I used to teach all the subjects in the curriculum up till class eight . Then during my graduation years, I started giving more details classes only on my major subject, English Literature. I specialise in Romantic, Modern and postmodern poetry, also do critical study of short stories. I have taught the freshes of our college a couple of times as a favour to one of our professors. I can explain and make a student taste the actual flavour of literary piece.

I have a very simple approach. Know the person who wrote it. Only then you can actually understand a work and what that person tried to convey through that piece of literature. I believe is explaining the theme and giving the student the benefit to develop his or her own skill of analysing. Obviously, I'm always there to help, but it's essential to understand and actually feel a poem or a drama or a short story. I try to impart a bit of knowledge about the time period captured in the work. It helps to understand the characters and their notions way better.
