About Lucy
I have been teaching English to 11-16 year-olds with special and additional needs in a local school for 8 years, although I have worked at the same school for 10 years now!
I worked for two years as a personal tutor, visiting students in their own homes to deliver 1:1 English tuition until March 2020 when I developed my practice to include online and distance learning sessions.
In January 2021 I led an online learning programme designed to address the gaps in educational provision as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic and school closures.

Initially I plan units of work with consideration for student interest before focusing on identifying and addressing students needs in order to inform planning of future learning sessions which both engage and stretch and challenge students to achieve their potential.
