About Christina
Presently, I am undergoing my 4th year in my Bachelor’s degree at the University of Edinburgh, I have chosen to specialise in English Literature. Having done a multi-disciplinary course for two years at The University of Edinburgh, studying English and History up until recently, has enabled me to develop key transferable skills which I am confident I can apply and develop as a tutor. My degree is both rewarding and challenging, I have acquired comprehensive skills in critical thinking, problem solving, time management and report writing. I have consistently shown my strengths in communicating, organising, and adapting under pressure, and hope to pass these attributes onto students. I also achieved over 11 GCSEs A*-B and 3 highly accredited ALevels in English Literature, History, and Fine Art (grade A-B).

As a visual and practical learner myself, my lessons would include multimedia presentations, activities, and demonstrations. I like to promote self-learning, by engaging with students in conversation and debate, challenging students to think critically is essential in the humanities, and for problem solving in general. A hybrid methodology allows me to tailor my lessons to the students needs and appropriate subject matter.
