About Liam

Hello! I'm Liam - a passionate reader, writer and educator. I hold two First Class degree (BA Hons, MA) and have been tutoring since early-2021. I have experience helping learners of varying needs and ability, including high-achievers hoping to improve specific areas of practice, as well underconfident readers and writers requiring more tailored approaches.

About the lesson

I'm happy to help anyone looking to improve their skills in English, including critical reading/thinking and essay writing - though I specialize primarily in GCSE and A-level English language and literature. Lessons usually last one hour but can be adjusted to fit the student's preferences. Style of the lessons will largely depend on the student's needs but will likely be informal and conversational. The first session will be focused on developing a study method that works for the student as we navigate their goals, needs and interests.

Liam's adaptability ensured that our lessons were not just informative, but deeply engaging and personally relevant. It is obvious that he has a deep understanding of English as a language.
