Experienced badminton player offering lessons to female and adult players to improve overall badminton skills

May is honestly my favourite coach because when you learn with her, it never feels like there’s a huge gap between teacher and student. Her sessions feel comfortable, supportive, and easy to learn in rather than overly strict or intimidating. That learning style personally helped me feel more confident and relaxed during lessons. She’s also very understanding and patient with her students, and you can tell she genuinely wants everyone to improve. If you want to build your confidence and feel supported while learning, I’d definitely recommend May. Just make sure to communicate with her too, because she really listens and helps when you speak up.

Mee Ging and I have been classmates for 3 years during our university time. Personally, I have learnt a lot about being more productive in class from her example. She was one of the few students in the class who would print the lecture notes and take notes as the lecture is being given. She would have her calculator on hand ready to attempt examples, while most students (including myself) just watch the lecturers do the examples themselves. I learnt from her and began to engage in class as she did, and I was increasingly more productive in class.

She scored First Class Honours (High Distinction) and was twice in the Curtin's Vice Chancellor's list awards (top 1% in academic performance in all undergraduate degrees), I think she was the only one in our graduate cohort who achieved such an honour academically.

I really think she has been blessed with an aptitude to learn and to understand. But with all this, she is very humble. This even comes across from how she would interact with people. And because of this, I would prefer to go ask her questions all the time knowing that she wouldn't look down on me because I don't understand it, even though they can be simple concepts.

This has been my experience with her. Her high aptitude and humility make her a great person to learn from and I would recommend her to students and especially those who are looking for someone to be patient with them and help them learn step by step. Mee Ging would be a great teacher for you.
