About Achuthan
Achuthan (Achu) started practicing yoga as a teenager. For him, yoga is about transformation.
His spiritual journey started in his childhood and as a teenager, he started to practice asanas. Starting with the Shivananda Hatha yoga style, he later transitioned into more dynamic Ashtanga Vinyasa and also Restorative yoga styles.
His father was a well-known Vedic astrologer. Achu used to be a Hindu priest. Coming from a spiritual family, he was fascinated by the idea of becoming a Hindu priest & servicing and helping others. After his father passed away he went to the Tantra Vidyapedoom ( Tantric school ) to study rituals and worships. The complete spiritual life in vidyapeedom made his path clear. He started to find answers to his questions. There he realized his path, his Swadharma.
Yoga taught him not to be hard on himself, to get a better understanding of life situations, and that in order to find answers; the journey needs to be an inward journey. He believes, that through yoga, we learn that we always have a choice as to how we react to things that happen in our life.

My mission is to make the asana practice safe and accessible for all bodies. Whether you are starting a yoga practice, or you are in more advanced practice, I can help you on your journey. I can tailor the 1:1 sessions according to the level of your practice and the requirements of your body and mind.
I can teach you 60 mins or 90 mins Hatha & Vinyasa styles with a good focus on alignments of the postures.
