About Geraint
I have been an English teacher for over twelve years, teaching both GCSE English Literature and Language to the AQA specification. I am passionate about my subject and love teaching. I have also worked as an examiner and I currently work as a senior examiner for the AQA managing and advising a team of ten other teachers. This gives me a real insight into what students need to do do maximise their marks.

My approach to teaching is to to have a friendly approach and always listen to each individual students needs. I have high expectations but I believe forming positive relationships with my students helps improve their performance. I will structure lessons depending on what each student wants. This may involve revision sessions, marking and feedback live with students and looking at excellent examples of work to drive performance.
