Welcome to LJR, where everyone can write! Nestled in the heart of Evansville, IN, I specialize in literature, reading, and writing tutoring. As a one-woman show, I bring a personalized touch to each session, ensuring every learner feels confident and excited about their literary journey. Whether you're looking to strengthen your reading skills or master the art of writing, I'm here to guide you every step of the way. Let's turn the page to your success story! I've been tutoring for close to seven years professionally and have a bachelor's degree in English from USI.
I started out tutoring at Ivy Tech Community College in 2018. I did various things there. I met some wonderful people, did some amazing projects, and had a blast.
I have five years in experience in tutoring plus a BA in creative writing.

Once I get a sense of a new students process I will look over their guidelines for their assignment and see how far they have gotten. Then I will discuss where they want the project or piece to end up and help guide them in the correct direction.
I have worked with mostly college leveled students. However, those same students were all over in their abilities in English; some were barely past high school learning, while others were way beyond the class they were currently in.
