About Jonita
We have assisted young people towards their proficiency in literacy for three years. We have successfully guided students to achieve admittance into their chosen schools and have helped students in writing successful essays for awarded scholarships. With degrees in psychology,writing, and as a certified teacher, I have the expertise to guide you to bring forth your best side through the written word.
We enjoy introducing classical and contemporary writings and how they interrelate to our world today. It is our mission for students to discover the beauty in the written word and that they are just as capable as their favorite writers to express themselves in the written form.
I worked over eleven years in social work and left to begin my family. I wrote a children's book and read it to my children's school class which resulted in my bringing a writing workshop to the school. This resulted in my becoming the founder of an educational non profit which partnered with schools of which brought me into the classroom as a teacher as requested by individuals within the schools.

Either through our workshops or independently. We work with students in person, online and through phone conferences.
I have worked with both advanced and resistant learners and have seen great success with both.
I would advise that just as students have individual learning styles so do the teachers have individual teaching styles. A student should seek to find a teacher that matches their learning style.
I've recently completed my third book titled, "Do You See What I See? A Picture Book of Poems of The Magical World of Clouds"
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I would also advise students that they should be very clear about their objective when seeking an instructor. Are they looking for tutoring of a specific subject, are they looking to complete a project, or are they looking to learn something that is not taught from their current classes? Knowing your objective, and being able to relay that to your teacher will help to avoid any confusion.
