About Kurt
I have always had a great love for understanding history! To me, it's an exciting story of how we got where we are, as well as how we became who we are. I've noticed over the years, however, that many find history to be boring because of teachers who aren't explaining history in a way that interests students. I hope to be a helping hand to excite students about history!
I was a Public Policy major at Georgia Tech, which is focused around studying how the US government works, but also involved quite a lot of US history and economic studies. I've always had a soft spot for international history though!

I like to begin by first getting to know what their strengths and weaknesses in the subject are! Knowing what they're good at helps to find a good way to teach and explain the parts that they struggle with. I know some don't think they're good at much in history, but even if that's the case, I'm certain we can figure out some things that they're good with!
I would always say to find a teacher/tutor who is able to excite you about the subject you're studying! Find one that can explain what you're struggling with in a simple way that makes sense for YOU. We all learn in different ways, so this is absolutely vital!
