About Debra
Hi my name is Debra. I love both teaching and learning and seeing my students achieve their goals. I have been tutoring students for 15 years usually helping them prepare for examinations.
I really enjoy teaching speaking, writing and British Literature and History. I am happy to say that nearly all my students have achieved their goals and are now studying in top tier universities in the UK. One of my students to whom I taught writing is a finalist in the John Locke Essay competition 2022 and is going to Oxford for the awards ceremony.

Step 1. Needs analysis; strengths and weaknesses; students goals; students preferred learning style, interests, and passions; building self-efficacy and confidence;
Step 2. Design lesson plans usually for 20 hours incorporating student goals; discuss with student and parents
Step 3. Deliver lessons - evaluation and feedback at the end of every class. Adjust lesson plans as needed
