About Holly
Hi there, I am Holly and I'm a 19-year-old dancer. I am a versatile dancer with skills training in Jazz, Commercial, Lyrical, Tap and many more. I started dancing from the age of 3 and since I have taken part in many exams, showcases and competitions throughout my career. Throughout my GCSEs I took Dance as one of my options. I had struggled with anxiety and general revision but I managed to push past this and work really hard to get the best grade possible. I then took my Level 3 Diploma in Dance at college and in my second year I was voted to be director in my second-year show. This was such a confidence boost as it gave me the confidence to put on an hour and a half show directed by myself. All I want is to take my knowledge and ability to help others who are in my position, and to help younger dancers to continue dancing and to keep their passion for dance instead of giving up when it gets hard!

Whether you’re preparing for dance exams or you simply want to improve your technique, I am now offering dance and revision sessions to help you achieve your goals with confidence. I combine structured technique with expressive movement, adapting each session to suit your level, learning style and abilities. My teaching will balance practical dance skills with theory-based advice and support for academic exams such as GCSE Dance and BTEC college courses. What I Offer: Exam support - Help with choreography analysis, performance skills, written theory & terminology Practical Dance Sessions - Styles include Jazz Technique, Commercial fundamentals, Lyrical and Ballet. Creative Choreography Tasks - Learning to build and create routines, refine techniques and boost confidence Lesson Lengths - 45 mins - 1 hour Any age/level can book lessons with me! My Experience: I have been dancing for 15 years in multiple dance styles, competed in competitions, taken ISTD exams, taken part in showcases and worked my way up to now completing my first year in a professional dance university. I have three years of experience teaching dance to students at my local primary school, where I ran a lunchtime and after-school dance club while completing my Level 3 Diploma in Dance during college. I taught jazz and commercial, focusing on helping students build their confidence, technique and performance skills in young dancers. I choreographed dance routines for various school showcases, gaining valuable experience. Qualifications in dance: ISTD Disco Freestyle exams Dance GCSE (Grade 7) Level 3 national diploma in Performing Arts Dance
