About Kathrine
Hi! I am a graduate of the University of Edinburgh with a first class degree in English Literature. As part of my degree I also studied British History, History of Art and Theatre Studies. I am a well experienced proofreader, editor, have studied widely: modern and classical literature, history, art and architecture, and theatre studies.

I'm a First Class English Literature graduate from a top university, and I love to share my passion for literature. I don't have a set teaching style; I treat each student as an individual, and work with you to find out which learning style suits you best. I inspire a passion for the subjects I teach through any way I can. I break big subjects down into manageable chunks, making the content as engaging, accessible and fun (!) as possible. As a teacher, I am relatable and easy to get on with; I understand that studying can sometimes be stressful and difficult, but I can help you find something you love within it.

Kathrine is one of the most eloquent and wittiest people I know. She is great at dismantling any argument to get to the core reasoning. Her explanations are clear, concise and thought provoking. Her manner is patient and encouraging: she has assisted me by proof reading my University essays and would be an incredibly valuable support to any student. She has an extensive knowledge of English literature and is an incredible actor.
Kathrine is a fantastic tutor she's helping me both with my English essays and with learning how to read texts and books for exams. I have terrible spelling and sentence structure and she has managed to help me learn how to structure my essays. Couldn't be happier to have been taught by her!
