About Heather
Hi! my name is Heather and I am currently studying History at The University of Edinburgh. I left school in 2025 with a plethora of qualifications such as National 5s, Highers and Advanced Highers, achieving As in History at those levels and an A in Higher Politics which I am also able to teach. I have also been awarded awards by the history faculty at my school as well as awards in volunteering. As a Holocaust Educational Trust ambassador, I have had the opportunity to communicate history to others, something I feel extremely passionate about. I believe that everyone can love learning as much as I do and that's why I provide a fun, enthusiastic approach to every lesson. I am very organised so am able to respond to questions ASAP, providing more time for learning outside of lessons. I am also able to tailor each lesson to fit each students needs. Whether you need guidance on content, analysis or exam technique, I can approach all with an eager attitude. Let's get those grades up together!

I offer engaging and enthusiastic online tutoring sessions designed to make history and politics exciting to learn about. I’m incredibly passionate about these subjects and love helping students discover the same excitement, curiosity and knowledge for the past that I have. Every lesson is tailored to suit how you learn best — whether that means interactive discussions, visual aids, or structured revision. My sessions usually last around an hour, but can be tailored to fit your needs. I achieved National 5s, Highers, and Advanced Highers, and I’ve received awards from the history faculty in my school and volunteering. As a Holocaust Educational Trust Ambassador, I’ve had experience in communicating important parts of history to others — a skill I bring to every lesson. I am able to teach SQA National 5 and Higher History and Politics, with a focus on content, analysis and exam technique. Let's make history exciting!
