About Harry
I have been a passionate lover of literature and avid reader my whole life. As a student at secondary school, I tutored GCSE students to great success. In my university studies, I have been able to bolster my textual analysis and essay writing abilities, achieving many 2:1s and Firsts in essays, and am thus capable of sharing these skills. I am a supportive and engaging tutor, always willing to listen to students' needs with patience and attentiveness. As a recent secondary school student and current undergraduate, I understand the intricacies of exam techniques and the general school experience well.
For those interested, my favourite novel is Donna Tartt's The Secret History!

I have 9s in both GCSE English Literature and Language as well as an A in A-Level English Literature. I am now studying English at UCL, having received offers from 5 Russell Group Universities for English. My lessons will typically be around an hour long and will be as tailored as possible to a students' needs, focusing primarily on honing close reading, formulating and improving essay writing, and mastering exam techniques to maximise marks. Lessons are available for GCSE English students of any age and ability.
