Fun, and engaging violin/theory lessons for beginners and intermediate students. Teaching students who are only up to grade 5 practical AMEB level. Beginner students will be taught basics of the violin including how to play and fundamental music theory, enabling students to better understand and comprehend musical terminology.
For Beginner Students:
Teaching violin brings me joy as I am able to develop the musical abilities of beginner students with valuable knowledge which can make learning the "most difficult instrument" easy and engaging. My aim is for not to just develop violin skill but to make students understand the beauty and sophistication of the music world and how everything comes together. This will reduce the chance of students forgetting or giving up on the violin.
For Intermediate Students or students looking to do exams (up to grade 5 only):
Providing guidance, exercises, goals, pieces to improve student's violin ability and technique to achieve high results.
Lessons usually one hour.
I've been playing the violin for over 13 years, performing in weddings, recitals, and various concerts. I have been a concertmaster in symphony orchestras, which requires extensive leading and awareness for over 60 musicians. I ranked first in my school for music, obtaining encore nominations for both performance and compositions. I have been teaching several students for over 4 years, ensuring they are enjoying the violin and understanding the beauty of music. One of my students picked up the violin from scratch and within one year, passed grade 2 AMEB.
