About Gemma
Hi! My name is Gemma I have just graduated with a 2:1 English Literature degree from the University of Liverpool. I am an experienced tutor with over 300 lessons under my belt. I have always loved English because reading sparks my creativity and writing allows me to express myself. Studying English at degree level has expanded my knowledge of subjects ranging from Shakespeare to English language stylistics to modern prose and many more. I know how important it is to have a good and passionate teacher which is why I will strive to make my lessons as engaging and informative as possible. We will analyse the specific texts you are studying by close reading certain passages, picking out key quotations and discussing overarching themes.
