About Kate
Hi! My name’s Kate and I’m a 22 year old English Literature graduate from Anglia Ruskin University.
After completing my university qualification, I decided that I wanted to stray away from a traditional teaching route and instead work with students on a 1-to-1 basis.
This decision came from a desire to be able to offer each and every student I work with both a personalised learning plan, and time that is reserved just for them.

Sessions with me revolve entirely around the individual needs of each student.
First, I will work to understand which areas students need support in through an informal consultation.
Then, I will create a tailored plan for our sessions together - whether that be essay structure, understanding Shakespeare, clarifying exam board specifications, or getting to grips with the texts on your syllabus.
There are no wrong answers and every session will conclude with a brief discussion about how the session went for the student, and what it is they feel they’d like to focus on next.
