About Isabel
I am a University of Exeter graduate who has both a BA and MA in English Literary Studies and who has a genuine passion for the subject of English Literature. I pride myself on my enthusiasm, patience and creativity all of which I think will serve me well as a tutor. I am particularly knowledgeable about modern literature, poetry and have a strong grasp of spelling and grammar.

My lessons will be one hour in length and geared to 11-18 year-olds. Although I currently don't have formal tutoring experience, I think it's important to personalise lessons to fit individual students. This means we can target areas they, their parents or their teachers have identified as needing improvement. I aim to approach tutoring with a workshop style that helps engage students and allows them to feel more confident in their abilities, discovering ideas themselves.
