I am a teacher and I love my craft. I’ve been in education for over thirty years. I have taught ESL to students from all over the world in three different countries from prep to adults and all skill levels, including student with no first language literacy. I have experience in working with a wide range of cultures to create engaging sessions that motivate students through knowing them.
When teaching, my methods are patient, welcoming and encourage students to thoroughly engage with the texts or topic of study. I use a range of study options in terms of developing learning strategies that cater for differing learning styles, such as designing lessons around verbal learning, visual learning, or the inclusion of classroom technology.
I assist students that are struggling with specific aspects or tasks (presentation, speech, essay). The students bring their problem to the table, and we work together to solve the issue. Lessons are usually an hour long, and we use Skype, and email to exchange documents and send annotated copies of work.
Over the past few months I have engaged in teaching English as a Second Language to mostly Chinese learners. I find it very rewarding especially when my learners are improving. I take pride in my patience and passion for teaching the English language. I aim to reach out to more learners who are eager to learn the language.
My teach method is contextual. As per the context, I love to use participatory approach where the learner can grow and perform own his/her own with the guidelines of teachers. Students focused approach is what I generally use.
I rely a lot on dialogue, and using communicative teaching techniques to enable people into thinking outside of the box. There is a constant exchange of ideas, wherein the learner is encouraged to operate independently.
School assignments are like briefs, each assignment has an angle it wants the student to reproduce. I have experience understanding educational jargon to identify the angle that the school wishes the students to produce. School is a system, I have various experience working that system.
I am very attentive and responsive to students. I take the time to understand the issue that they are struggling with and work with them to find the best solution. A typical lesson with me would focus on a range of topics such as essay framework, vocabulary and close reading.
Hi, I am a second year university student and I study a double degree of teaching with a major in English. I will put my students first and assess their abilities. Once I have done this we will work together to improve their writing skills.
As I have taught Arts related subjects like English, history, political science etc., for 4 years, I have realised that students learn and remember things better in two ways; first) when they explore a subject themselves and in-depth or second) when they are asked to re-write the given study material in their own lingo that will help them memorise it.
For subjects in English literature, I like to provide students with the opportunity to read the texts and come to the lesson ready to discuss points, themes or motifs that stand out to them. I would encourage my students, especially for IB English, to practice writing as many commentaries as possible. I would provide them with the opportunity to do this during the lesson and also for homework.
I am a teacher by profession and still works (though I am currently on study leave from my home country since I am doing Masters here in Australia) in a high school. I have been teacher for 11 years and my teaching subjects includes English and History.
I use student centered teaching methods in my classes. Students are free to ask questions and doubts and do presentations in the class. Moreover, while teaching I make sure even an average student in the class understands the lessons. As a teacher I try to bring the best out of a student.
I adapt my method to students needs and abilities. Lots of coloured pens, pencils, highlighters and post it notes. I use different media, from YouTube, Films and apps. I believe that being able to express yourself well in English whatever your learning ability is vital and helps build self esteem.

My teaching method is that each child does not only need to be able to read and write, but also comprehend what they have read and written in order to understand what is being said. It is not only essential for a child to be able to read but to also understand what the have read.
I am a confident, kind, sensitive, earnest and enthusiastic communicator who is able to disseminate and make complex concepts clear and comprehensible.
My mode of teaching is basically interactive with the active involvement of students which make the lesson more interested.I like to prepare and deliver the lessons in the most simple form for better effectiveness.
I am convinced that the best way to tailor a study program on a student is to first and foremost talk to them and understand what their points of strength are and what they encounter difficulties in. I believe in communication and in encouraging the student to always try their best, no matter if they will make mistakes of struggle to complete the task.
My lessons are for anyone who wants to learn and improve their English speaking, reading, writing skills. I have a friendly demeanour and am patient with my students. I want to see that they perform well and I work hard to acheive that.
I base my classes on conversation and essential grammar skills.
I have a thorough subject knowledge and do my best to share that with my students. I encourage wide reading and can assist with exam prep and essay writing by practising the skills required.
In my experience, the best way to approach the study of literature is through "close reading" of the text, combined with knowledge of the historical and cultural context in which it was written, and the life experiences of the author. My tuition uses these three aspects to encourage a fuller appreciation of the text being studied.
My mantra is: make every topic relevant to the student's life and interest. The reason I love language class is that you can customise any learning experience to make it relevant to your own interests. For example, if in my academic English class we were learning about referencing, I could ask a student to bring their favourite book or newspaper.
I have managed to acquire more than a few books on learning Latin and Greek. The first step would be to sit down with the potential student to gauge their prior knowledge of grammar etc. in order to work out the pace for teaching and what their personal goals are.

The aim of this workshop is to explore the confines of the mind through literary practice, play with language and experiences and try to reach the state of "lyrical disinhibition" where the barriers of mind, body and feelings are undone . The workshop 'Writing Dynamics' seeks to experiment with interdisciplinary techniques to stimulate writing.
I graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the UNAM, I studied a degree in Hispanic Language and Literature. My classes are dynamic, teach them the Spanish track exercises to learn it through practice and not just memory. I am patient and I teach because it is what I like.
My method is based, mainly, on offering support to what has been studied in class. I offer individual or group classes to students from Primary to High School, characterized by instilling passion and enthusiasm in young people. My classes can be structured in different ways, appropriate to the need of each occasion. Of course, available to the advice of students and parents.
My methodology is fully adapted to the student and his / her work preferences. Very interactive classes, I like to propose questions rather than solve them so that the student draws his own conclusions, always aimed at the correct knowledge of what is being treated.
