About Ben
Having graduated from CUNY Hunter College with both a bachelor's and a master's degree, I am very skilled as a writer. I've overcome my own ADHD and self-confidence issues to become a better learner and thinker. This allows me to understand and aid students who are held back by similar struggles. I seek to provide students with both the confidence and knowledge needed to succeed.

I approach tutoring in the hopes of providing students with the tools needed for them to work on their own and to organize themselves for maximum efficiency. I use my own experience as someone who has been tutored to create an approach unique to each student I work with. I often discuss ideas with my students, allowing them to vocalize their thoughts so that we can work together to organize ideas into a coherent response. Ultimately, I want the student to be responsible for the work. I am simply there to provide assistance and encouragement. I am happy to tutor anyone between ninth grade and college.
