About John

I'm currently working as a History teacher at a secondary school wιth absolute passion for teaching . I enjoy seeing the light bulb moments when a child finally grasps something they have been finding difficult.
As such, I have proven track record of successfully preparing students for their 11+,GCSE or A-Levels in AQA History whether their goal is to enter independent/grammar schools or rank among UK universities'league table.

About the lesson

I am a kind and approachable tutor and will firstly assess the child to assess their strengths and weaknesses. I will then create a teaching plan to best serve your child to achieve the results they a capable of and deserve. Parents consistently thank me for the results I achieve for their children.

I am both warm with the students but also firm. My lessons are fun and approachable however the student knows they must focus and complete all homework for the next lesson.have proven track record of successfully preparing students for their 11+,13+,GCSE or A-Levels in History whether their goal is to enter independent/grammar schools or rank among UK universities'league table.

I found John when searching for a tutor to learn about the work of Dominikos Theotokopoulos, the famous painter who was nicknamed as El Greco. John gave me lessons about the time (history, politics) Theotokopoulos lived and worked in Spain. His noted were well prepared and clear. His teaching was easy to follow. And overall, I learned a lot from him. I don't hesitate to recommend him.
