About Alexis
I just graduated from high school. I’ve always loved reading and writing poems; one of my favorite activities is to read. I also love helping kids learn or helping them feel like they belong. I love teaching kids that ALL kids are very smart; they just learn differently or may take longer to learn. I also love routines and schedules and ways to help children find a way that helps them specifically.

I understand students have a hard time with English, writing, spelling, grammar, poetry, or maybe some just have a hard time with public speaking. I always had a hard time with it in public school. I also have social anxiety I struggled with for many years, so I can understand when it’s hard to focus on what you're reading when needing to remember or being quizzed on it after. I want to help people learn while also feeling seen/heard by being taught by someone they can relate to.
