About Jessie
I am a college student based in Arkansas originally from the Keystone state of Pennsylvania (Let's Go Steelers!). I am majoring in History/Secondary Education seeking licensure, I have an express interest in all things history, though my biggest interests are American history/politics as well as Geography. I am politically independent and have a clear desire to separate any political beliefs I may have with the content I present.

- I teach history not as a what, when, where, but as a why and a how. How and why an event happened in history and the impacts of said event are more important than the date they happened.
- A typical lesson plan would be discussing the build up to an event say Bleeding Kansas and describing how that led to the main event for example with the former the Civil War then exploring the outcomes and aftermath of the event like Reconstruction.
- What sets me apart as a tutor is that I truly care about the future generations caring about history. To give them the tools to make informed opinions about global situations based on the history and methods I teach.
- Comfortable tutoring anyone K-12, and beyond. Though preferably Secondary student as that aligns with my major more so than any other, but I can teach all.
