About Cassandra
Hi there! I am a Wilfred Laurier alumni grad from ‘12 with a Bachelors degree in Honours English and fully bilingual in French. I was a grade 12 TA for a core French class at my previous high school of Kitchener- Waterloo Collegiate & Vocational School. Since graduating, I’ve now worked for the countries largest independent finance company for the past 9 years assisting both French and English clients with their mortgages. I’ve been rewarded with my companies top performance awards more than 3 consecutive times and I’m a licensed Financial Advisor. I’ve helped tutor my colleagues’ children in French for the past 2 years and I just love to provide the same knowledge and support to others that I received throughout my academic career!

My ideal teaching methods would be hands-on, direct support of children’s educational subjects grades 4-8. I enjoy implementing questionnaire, multiple choice quizzes to help students learn. I believe that practising oral skills/ communication helps students build confidence that will lead to long term success.
